Operational Update

11 April 2007

Cellcast plc (AIM:CLTV), the global interactive digital broadcaster, is pleased to announce that it has now added two television channels in Brazil to its rapidly expanding global network of broadcaster relationships.

Rede TV, one of the larger terrestrial broadcasters in Brazil, has contracted Cellcast to deploy the Company's interstitial applications (i.e. short interactive segments shown within and between shows), across multiple programmes, including the top rated "A Tarde É Sua". On Bandeirantes, the leading sports-focussed terrestrial broadcaster, Cellcast will provide interstitial applications integrated into Bandeirantes' highest rated programme, the bi-weekly broadcast of Premier League Brazilian soccer.

Cellcast believes that, across Latin America, television remains the most powerful and effective medium for promoting interactive content. Cellcast's applications in this region are now generating over 14 million minutes worth of calls per month, equating to almost £1 million in gross revenue for the Company per month. Cellcast believes the Company is the regional leader in participation-TV across a rapidly expanding market which, according to analysis by Frost & Sullivan, will grow from US$594.2 million for mobile entertainment services across Latin America in 2005 to an estimated US$2.61 billion in 2012.

Cellcast now derives over 60 per cent of its revenues from international markets, with significant growth coming from the success of its innovative, newly developed interactive formats, specifically those that have been scheduled in prime time hours by leading terrestrial broadcasters, as well as from the incremental growth of participation-TV across the world.

Current trading is not affected by recent Ofcom investigations into call TV services in television programmes in the UK. The Company has not operated such quiz formats in the UK market for almost two years.

Andrew Wilson, CEO of Cellcast, said: "We believe that the current review of participation-TV in the UK is extremely beneficial for the long-term future of the industry. It should prove advantageous for Cellcast, since we have substantial experience of markets in which the regulatory environment is more stringent and clearly defined. We already have a proven raft of interactive formats that are based on skill and extremely transparent to the participant.

"I am delighted with the results that we are seeing from our international markets, particularly Latin America and India. That we are now operating in over fifteen countries demonstrates the effectiveness of our interactive broadcast model, which is delivering new revenue streams and the active engagement of television audiences worldwide."
