Over the 2004 Ramadan season, Cellcast launched the Mounaksa live reverse auction show on Future TV, the most popular satellite television network in the Middle East. Mounaksa revolutionised the way viewers in the region interacted with television and their mobile phones, and the programme proved so popular and compelling that its run continued far beyond the Ramadan season.
