Proprietary Platform
Cellcast’s system agnostic operating model captures new telephony-based pay-to-play and pay-to-participate revenue streams facilitated by a proprietary interactive platform, which together with proprietary applications and program formats, enable consumers to participate using mobile and fixed-line telephones, the Internet, PDAs and other wireless devices.
The platform minimizes the work required to integrate mobile and fixed-line network operations with broadcast systems. This reduces costs, increases productivity and provides for rapid development of applications and formats.
Platform interfaces are based on standards such as Web Services (SOAP) for partners to link to the backend of the system. This allows us to make
deployments remotely without the necessity of deploying engineers on-site. As the only company currently using Internet streaming within broadcast
television, we have been able to remove costs normally associated with terrestrial and satellite-based circuits. From format definition to format
deployment, the time involved in the delivery of a new program to a new market has been significantly reduced from weeks or months, to a matter of days.
